 REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Weather Conditions

We want everyone to have their beach event and have the best possible experience with us. Due to the nature of outdoor events, we cannot provide a full refund based on weather conditions. Refunds are given minus the deposit. All bonfires and picnics have a $200 non-refundable deposit, and weddings have a $500 non-refundable deposit within 72 hours. If weather isn't permitting on the day of your event we will gladly move your reservation to another day with a new permit fee plus any additional permitting fees that may apply. Requesting to move your beach bonfire or picnic must be done at least 1 business day before the originally scheduled bonfire and is subject to availability. Should you decide to cancel, a refund minus the non-refundable $200 deposit will only be given if canceled 12 hours before your scheduled fire. If you want to move your bonfire to a later or earlier time on the day of your event, we are happy to accommodate if done before noon. If by chance, it is raining on your wedding day, we'd be happy to move it to another date if permits are available. All permits must be repurchased before any changes are made. Last minute cancellations are not allowed unless there is an emergency. In which case, you will lose your deposit.  All beach events once set up on the beach, will not be subject to any sort of refunds or credits. Once our attendants set up, the event is on rain or shine. No refunds will be given!

Turtle Nesting​

Turtle nests may pop up during the nesting season, May - October. Should a turtle nest block your beach bonfire use, we will move your beach bonfire to the next available beach access with a $110 temporary beach bonfire permit fee and any additional permitting fees that may apply. Moving due to turtle nests does not grant a refund.

Also, please know all the artificial lighting (battery operated candles and battery operated string lights) must be turned off by 9pm.  Tikis and bonfire may remain lit the remaining time of your event.

 

Cancelations

Should you have to cancel your beach bonfire or picnic reservation, please let us know at least 1 business day prior to your beach bonfire reservation by calling our office 516-680-1023 or emailing Fyrefestivity@gmail.com. All bonfires include a non-refundable $200 deposit. The non-refundable deposit is due at booking to hold your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid 3 days prior to your reservation. If you decide to cancel, a refund will be granted minus the $200 deposit. Cancelations must be done 1 business day before your bonfire to be eligible for a partial refund. Refunds are not granted on the same day as your bonfire. 

All wedding cancellations must be made within 72 hours after booking for a full deposit refund. Your remainder balance is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding and last minute cancellations is not allowed unless there is an emergency. If you chose to cancel your wedding, you will receive the remainder refund minus the deposit.
